This cute guy will put a smile on anyones face.  I have been photographing Cameron’s fabulous family for a few years now and was so looking forward to meeting Cameron! Cameron wasn’t in a hurry to meet me, I still can’t figure that one out. 🙂 But it was worth the wait to meet him. He is adorable! wmf8F1C0033 wmf8F1C0046 wmf8F1C9971 wmf8F1C9982

This freezing weather has us all thinking about SPRING and with spring comes Easter Mini Sessions!!  I have received numerous messages about my spring mini sessions!!  One question has come up.  Do I use animals (bunnies, ducklings, and chicks) in my spring mini sessions? The answer is nonever! Here are the reasons why very few professional photographers do this. 1. Concern that a child may be hurt. 2. Concern that an animal may be hurt by a child (we have all seen a child squeeze a little too tight!). 3. The use of a live animals in photography requires a license from the USDA and a permit in most states.  Bunnies and chicks carry diseases such as Salmonella. I LOVE animals. If you know me that one doesn’t need to be said. I personally couldn’t subject an animal to hours of touching, chasing, squeezing and just plain being scared to death no matter how awesome I thought the photo would be.  Unless you are going to have animal handlers, the photo session becomes more about the chicks, ducks, and bunnies and not your child who really should be the focus of the session.   Thanks for thinking about me for your little ones spring photos (yea!) but if you are looking for chicks, bunnies, and ducklings I am not the photographer for you. I am excitedly planning my Spring Mini Sessions I am in love with these colors!!   They are my inspiration for my spring mini sessions!!  Image from reveriemini.com

It’s so crazy how fast time flies by.  Seems like just yesterday that Brantlee was visiting for newborn photos!  Ashley (Brantlee’s mom) made the amazing creations (swags, cake topper, birthday board, and the adorable shirt Brantlee wore. Brantlee’s cool Jeep made by his uncle!  Brantlee’s cake smash session was so much fun. I love his dimples and those gorgeous baby blues.  It was great having Brantlee’s dad along for photos, he and Ashley are an amazing team and make adorable children 🙂 !   Enjoy a few favorites of your adorable Brantlee!wmf8F1C0009 wmf8F1C0036 wmf8F1C0042 wmf8F1C9596 wmf8F1C9644 wmf8F1C9670 wmf8F1C9822 wmf8F1C9912 wmff8F1C9973

Over the past year I have had the pleasure of meeting and get to know the Angelovski family. Ana was one of my very first newborn portraits.  Being Ana’s newborn portrait photographer has allowed me to get to know this wonderful family and become friends with her beautiful, sweet, amazing mom, Branka.  I will be taking Ana’s year photos soon. I am amazed how fast a year has gone by and how very lucky I am to have an amazing job that I love and allows me to wmf8F1C2518 wmff8F1C2166 wmff8F1C2509meet and work with wonderful families.
